Stylish, mobile camps, always set in pristine and beautiful environs, with comfortable mattresses, wonderful cotton sheets, Arabian rugs, vivid colours and carefully chosen furnishings. Each tent has a private tented bathroom, with showers open to the skies, sumptuous cotton towels and luxurious toiletries. Only solar light, candles, oil lamps and fires are used, to blend in with the natural environment. Our chefs prepare delicious Middle Eastern, North African and Mediterranean cuisine on site, using local ingredients. Dinner is a magical experience served under the stars, beside a crackling fire and at a properly laid table, replete with glasses, china crockery and linen tablecloths.
LIGHTWEIGHt star tent CAMPS
A more economical, lighter weight camp, which allows for access to the most exhilaratingly remote corners of the country, at a more affordable price. Our star tent camps allow you to enjoy magical nights sleeping under a star studded sky. The tents comprise of a comfortable mattress, good quality cotton sheets and duvet, laid on a large, canvas mat. A framed mosquito net drapes over the bed. Each tent is beautifully lit, thoughtfully positioned and offers magnificent star gazing opportunities, with only a mosquito tent roof. Watching the heavens rotate above you through the night and waking as the dawn breaks is magnificent. Star tent camps include a bathroom tent, with showers open to the skies. Dinner is served traditionally, seated on a majlis rug with cushions, beside a crackling fire.
